2005-2009 Joint Work Plan Tasks
The 2005-2009 Joint Lake Whatcom Work Plan was adopted by the County Council, City of Bellingham Council, and Lake Whatcom Water and Sewer District Commissioners in 2005 with an update provided in 2006. THree tasks were identified associated with Transportation:
- Coordinate transportation planning to develop options and criteria for managing transportation projects in a manner consistent with water quality protection goals;
- Evaluate bus schedule changes with respect to promoting public transit use; and
- Coordinate with City, County, and Sudden Valley to achieve the City's updated Comprehensive Plan, Transportation Element Goals and Policies.
